Lessons Learned

This semester has been such a huge learning experience for me. For someone that was lacking computer skills coming into this class, I can comfortably say that I am leaving with a lot more than I came in with. Microsoft Office was a very easy and reliable platform that I was able to catch onto fairly quickly. I learned many new skills such as powerpoint and excel. I also found the virtual computer to be a very interesting and new skill for me as well. Learning about the hardware, software and overall components really helped me understand how a computer operates. I had a lot of fun putting together my global project as well as my emerging technology presentation. I look forward to putting my new skills to the test in the future.
