Emerging Technology

Overview

For this assignment I have chose Robotics as my emerging technology to present in my CSIT 101 W08 class. I am on the path of Radiography and I find this emerging technology to be very interesting and important, espescially in the medical field.

Emerging Technology: Robotics

Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction and operation of robots. Robotics are being used in various fields such as manufacturing, healthcare and defense. This emerging technology is designed with precision and accuracy in mind. Robotics are rapidly taking off in the medical field, relieving workforce stress for employees and allowing them to have more patient interaction time while these machines are performing daily tasks for them.

Lessons Learned

This assignment was education and informing for me. As someone that wants to work in the medical field, robotics is something that I would like to become more familiar with. I enjoyed learning about the different tasks that robotics are set to take over in the future such as stocking medical cabinets, ordering medication, and patient monitoring.
