IN 1960,feamales singers become a hit and many audition programs such as the birth of stars produced many idols
fx. Mari Amachi/ Momoe Yamaguchi / Masako Mori / Candies / Pink lady ...etc.

Unlike in the 1970s, it has chaneged from singing pop songs to singing pop songs. Especially, it was called the golden age of idol.

The 1990s is said be the age of idol winter. The existence of idols has diminished due to the being boom and TK boom. Morning Musume broke it down and invented the graduation system for idols.

in the 2000s, group idol become the mainstream. Without giving in to Moring Musume's momentum, they transformed into idols that Yasushi Akimoto could meet.
