English
English is my primary language. I mostly communicate in English except in special instances. I have been learning and expanding my understanding of the language throughout my whole life. Even though english is my primary language I still try to learn and expand my horizons in the language open my array of understanding even further.Hindi
My parents are originally from North India. They grew up speaking Hindi throughout their daily lives. When they came to America for better opportunities they kept their language skills sharp, as it was one of their strongest connections back to their homeland. Growing up they made sure to instill the Hindi language into my sister and my own life. I was and am still constantly surrounded by my parents often talking in Hindi, as well as have grown an interest in Hindi movies as well as music which has supported my language skills. From kindergarten to 6th grade I went to an Indian school where I was taught the traditional Indian written language Hindi as well as took a deep dive into the cultural stories and fables from India.Spanish
From 3rd grade to present times I have been learning spanish through my school curriculum. I have learned many aspects of the language and have dove deep into the cultural aspects as well as different places throughout south America and how the dialect of spanish alters. I have explored and gained a familiarity and an understanding of the language that is advanced. Having the skills to speak Spanish in my area of comfort opens various opportunities and leads to another level of professionalism.
