BIOS Setting changed
My BIOS Setting get wiped out every few days. I have set up BIOS to use "optimized Default". I only change one item AC BACK to "Always On" so that when I turn on my multi plug it all powers up. However every few days it does not auto power up so I check bios and see "AC Back" value changed to "Always Off". I am on BIOS F23d and this was working correctly for a few months. I was wondering if the BIOS battery was getting low, however BIOS Batteries last a long time normally. My rig is about 18 months old. Is this a known problem perhaps. Could Windows on the App Centre interfere with BIOS Setting?
Over the last 6 months or so I can confirm I have had no BIOS issues whatsoever, this coincided with the PSU being replaced. 9th Dec 2019
Comments welcome.
Couple of issues over the last couple of years.
Running Silent Loop pump at full speed caused pump to stop cycling liquid due to some small bubbles which seem to get stuck at the pump area, slowing the pump down will make small bubbles move along. Silent Loop offered to change unit but most AIO will have some small bubbles. Pump has been running in auto mode now for over a year with no issues.
Power supply connector not making proper contact. System would crash and not start. Wiggling PSU connector at the motherboard the mobo would suddenly power up. After 2 years the PSU became problematic. The 24 pin connector stopped making proper contact and sometimes did not power up. The problem was identified as when I gently moved the 24 pin connector the system power up. I replaced the PSU with a "750W - Aerocool MOD XT 80+ Bronze Modular Power Supply" which has been working as it should since it was replaced. This PSU includes 8 pin EPS power connector
