Center for the Science and Innovation (CSI) Machine Shop (Prototyping/Fabrication) Technician

  • Transformed a tradition machine shop into an all inclusive modern makerspace

  • Develop curriculum & co-instruct various engineering courses focusing on modern approaches to fabrication. Specifically, using Fusion 360 to drive fabrication through CNC lasers, CNC routers, 3D Printers, CNC water jet, & CNC plasma cutter.

  • Assist students & faculty with fabrication of research instrumentation

  • Maintain a wide array of woodworking, metalworking and plastic working tools

  • Manage, mentor, & train 2-6 student workers per semester
