Critical reading, writing, and thinking. Students will critically read and write primarily expository and argumentative texts that respond to a variety of rhetorical situations and contexts and incorporate college-level research. Minimum 6,000 words formal writing. Note: Not open to students who have successfully completed ENGL B1AL.
Prerequisite: ENGL B50, ENGL B53, or ENSL B50 with a grade of 'C' or better or English Level 6 - Transfer
