What is Raising for Rutherford: Our spring survey asked for a more affordable and inclusive adults only fundraiser. Formerly known as Wishes for Rutherford, Raising for Rutherford puts the emphasis back on who we are raising money for and is simply a new twist on an old favorite! We took all the things you loved about Wishes and created an event that is sure to leave you asking for more! We welcome parents, grandparents, school staff, event sponsors and all community members to come mingle and show your support for Rutherford! 

In the month leading up to Raising for Rutherford, all students will have the opportunity to sell raffle tickets for some really cool prizes. Our spring raffle is always a huge hit, and we can't wait to show you the prizes we secured! Winners will be revelead on Facebook Live the morning of our Raising for Rutherford event.

What happens at Raising for Rutherford: This year, we are hosting a casino night! Complete with poker, Texas hold 'em, blackjack and more! Each participant will receive complimentary "funny money" to play with at any of our casino tables. 

The evening will also include a silent auction, mystery gift card pull, a wall of wishes, light appetizers and plenty of new people to meet!

What is our goal: We hope to raise $25,000 at our event. All proceeds go to various Rutherford PTA programs and grants that enrich everyday learning experiences and advance educational opportunities for all students.
