What is the Scholastic Book Fair: Rutherford PTA partners with Scholastic Book Fair company to bring the magic of book discovery to our school gym! The book fair will be stocked with the best selection of books from all-brand-name publishers to special editions of bestsellers at lower price points.  Students will be shopping with their classroom during the week and we welcome families to come shop on Tuesday November 18th during our Winter Sip & Shop! 

What is the Winter Sip & Shop: This well cherished event is a special time that students can bring families, friends, grandparents, or any one special in their lives to come and shop the book fair in the gym and then join us for crafts and cookies (with hot cocoa!) in the joining gym.  

When will my student shop: Classroom teachers will sign up for a "shopping" time that works best for their classroom schedule.  Many teachers have a "walk-thru" only time where students can have a chance to browse books before the big shopping day.  

How does my student purchase books at the Book Fair: Closer to the book fair you will receive information on how to add money to your students Scholastic E-Wallet.  They may also shop with cash.

Volunteers Needed: This event needs a ton of volunteers to keep check out running smoothly!  Volunteers needed to set up, assist kids with finding books, running registers at check out, and teardown/pack up the supplies. We also need volunteers to help at our Winter Sip & Shop happening during the Book Fair.
