All MP must be on duty during peacetime (unless on stage as another rank).
MP must enforce and follow the RU rules at all times.
MP may not punish anyone above their arrest rank (this is a removable offence).
MP may not go out to war (Unless you are OMON)
During terrors MP are responsible for protecting enlisted.
CDT+ can call Base Codes when needed.
MP must act professional when on the job, with this rank you are a role model to other RU.
Minimum rank to join MP is Corporal (CPL)
Minimum Rank to perform a MP Tryout is WO2
1. Advert RU Military Police tryouts at location. 1st call do 3 calls and be creative with the advert. (ex: /advert RUMP Tryouts at helipad. 1st call)
2. Have the recruits change their name to RU (Branch) (Main Rank) (Special Forces) (MPT) (DI Rank) (Name)
3. Make sure they know their faces.
4. Do trigger discipline (2 full magazines of any weapon)
5. Go over a brief introduction of the branch. Then, rules of MP, Base rules, and base codes.
6. Teach the Military Police Trainee (MPT) the 3 step system of arresting someone and how to use the police baton.
7. Teach the cadets what to do during Debrief and during peacetime. (Make sure they know to enforce the rules without delay)
8. If the trainee (s) pass the tryout, tell them to change their name to RUMP (rank) (name) when on duty. Give them the RU MP: Soldier whitelist.
9. Tell them how names should be off duty: (Branch) (Special Forces) (Main rank) (MP rank) (DI rank) (Name)
10. Give them the RU Military Police Informational Link on the forums.
Strike System
2 warnings=1 strike
1 wrong face or formation= 1 warning
1 Hit on trainer during trigger discipline=1 warning
Code Green: All safe (Keys out)
Code Yellow: Warning (Weapon on safety)
Code Red: Danger (Weapon off safety, terror)
Code Blue: Someone has escaped without PTL (Shoot or arrest them)
Code blue can only be called by MP officers or next highest on.
Can only be called against arrest rank of caller (Cadet cannot call code blue on a 2LT)
The 3 step system must be followed when making arrests unless immediate danger (Mass RDM, TK of a GEN, etc)
Step 1: Verbal warning
Step 2: Baton hit and additional warning
Step 3: Baton hit and arrest
MP should not be arresting recruits unless they are minging extremely hard. If a recruit leaves base do not arrest them. Either chase them down or kill them.
Petty offenses are to be met with petty punishments. Someone shooting without a suppressor should not be arrested unless the situation escalates to something more which requires an arrest.
Arresting is always the last option, try everything before arresting. Players are much more likely to leave the server if they are arrested.
During peacetime you must always be, patrolling, watching over fellow soldiers or standing guard.
If using Soldier - Expected to be either patrolling or watching over RU.
If using Control Sniper - Expected to be on border wall or control tower keeping watch for any threat.
If using Gate Keeper - Expected to be at the gates keeping them closed and managing vehicles coming in or out of base.
If using Officer > Commander - Expected to be doing any of these.
