We have learned that it is important to iterate the rough sketches, wire-frames, and high fidelity mock-ups. Constantly revisiting and asking questions from the users perspective played a huge hole in our application refinement. Design iteration also proved to be useful in meeting UI/UX and usability needs.
We have learned and realized that team involvement was another critical factor in our application design process because we were constantly getting feedback from each other. Designing for mobile devices can be complex and tedious, but with the help of the other member's feedback, we were able to avoid unnecessary screens and testing delays.
Being exposed to each individual's skill set and talents really helped us learn from each other and plan out the division of work load in a way that benefited everyone. We didn't know much about each other in the beginning but with the help of group meetings we were able to break the ice and in the midst completing our homework assignments we ended up learning a lot more than we had anticipated.
Team Consistency played a vital role throughout this whole journey. We have learned that team collaboration and consistency in each assignment helped us earn team satisfaction towards all group assignments. We understood that each member had other assignments and tasks from different classes and with that understanding we were able to manage the time and distribute the work load evenly. Time management was also key to Team Consistency. This amazing experience will stay with us and help us apply this technique in the working world.
We celebrated and appreciated small victories every time we would finish each task of the assignment. Those little words of appreciation kept us motivated throughout each group assignment. This optimism throughout the group helped us finish our individual assignments in the same way.
