How to Register

Students register for classes using the University’s online student information system-WebReg. Once you log in using your Net identification through your My Rutgers account (https://my.rutgers.edu/portal/)that has been pre-assigned to you, you will be able to access all your student and student account records and register for classes. Information about registration and registration policies are available on the MBA website.

For new students, before you can register for classes you must make sure you have submitted all your information to the admissions office. You will then register online during the night of orientation. These guides will help you understand the process:

  • Manual Registration Form (please fill out and send to your advisor via email)
  • You can also drop courses on WebReg or by emailing the Manual Registration Form to your advisor. You cannot withdraw using WebReg. Please go to the section on Withdraws for more information.

Error Messages & Pre-Reqs

The system does not allow you to register for courses with overlapping schedules. If you get an overlap message that you believe is in error, contact your graduate advisor. Please note: we do not keep wait lists for our classes.

Classes that require Pre-reqs must have the pre-req satisfied prior to registration. The advising office cannot overide pre-reqs.
