Full-Time Arts Faculty
Full-Time Arts Faculty
At the heart of Roosevelt School of the Arts is an extraordinary faculty of full-time arts educators whose talent, expertise, and commitment to students define the RSA experience.
Our faculty provides rigorous, sequential instruction across Choir, Dance, Music, Theatre, Technical Theatre, and Visual Arts. They are educators, artists, directors, choreographers, conductors, designers, mentors, and creative leaders who challenge students to develop both the technical skills and artistic confidence necessary to grow in their craft.
RSA students experience far more than traditional classroom instruction. They rehearse, perform, create, exhibit, collaborate, design, compete, and produce. Along the way, their teachers introduce them to the discipline and expectations of serious artistic work: preparation, technique, creative risk-taking, collaboration, perseverance, professionalism, and the courage to put their work before an audience.
Just as importantly, our faculty recognizes that arts education is about developing the artist and the individual. Teachers build relationships with students, discover their strengths, challenge them to stretch beyond what they thought they could do, and create spaces where young people can find their artistic voices and a community in which they belong.
Together, our full-time faculty forms the artistic foundation of RSA. They preserve traditions, embrace innovation, collaborate across disciplines, and create opportunities that allow students to experience the arts at an exceptional level—all while receiving the comprehensive education and support of a public high school.
Their work is visible on our stages, heard in our music, reflected in our galleries, and carried forward in the confidence, creativity, discipline, and artistry of every RSA student.
