Located on the beautiful Roosevelt High School campus, Roosevelt School of the Arts (RSA) opened its doors in September 1984 as Fresno Unified School District’s second magnet high school program. For more than 40 years, RSA has provided students in grades 9–12 throughout the Fresno County area with in-depth, specialized training and experiences in the performing, visual, and media arts, alongside a rigorous academic program. RSA’s unique curriculum offers arts coursework and opportunities not available at other area high schools, giving students the chance to develop their talents through intensive study and real-world artistic experiences. This commitment to excellence in arts education earned RSA the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education’s prestigious Creative Ticket National School of Distinction Award, making it one of only five schools nationwide selected for outstanding achievement in arts education. RSA’s legacy continues through its alumni, many of whom have gone on to successful careers on Broadway and in the film, television, recording, and other creative industries.
