The Advanced Driver Unit team consists of highly experienced members within the Roads Policing Unit who are trusted by the command team. ONLY EX-command and EX-senior mentors, who have shown dedication to the Roads Policing Unit division, are able to receive this rank when they step down. ADU is the highest rank within the division below mentors and they are expected very highly of.

The Role Of An ADU

ADU members are trusted to take lead on pursuits and scenes and are relied on ,by command, to enforce the rules of the division ensuring the division runs smoothly and is stable. Being so high in the division in the past, ADU members will have great knowledge about the division so they should be able to help other members of RPU where possible.

Perks

The perks of being ADU are:

1. You can perform and authorise all forms of tactical contact.

2. You are part of both RPU sub-divisions.

3. You have access to a unique outfit and can wear mask 169.

4. You can drive any RPU vehicle.
