The Roads Policing Unit (RPU) is one of the biggest divisions in the entire Police Department. This is because road safety is of paramount importance when it comes to keeping the streets and citizens of CMG safe. RPU specialises in keeping threatening criminals away from the roads in order to reduce potential harm to civilians. This is done in multiple different ways, for example, reducing car theft by catching thieves in the act, handing out speeding fines to those who are driving over the limit, and collaborating with other divisions such as ERPT to help catch criminals who are trying to escape the police.
An individual can join the RPU if they're Basic Pursuit Trained and Communications Trained and Response Officer+, so if you meet these requirements and want to join the division, please submit an RPU: Application and the RPU Command will look forward to reviewing it!

The "RPU: Uniforms & Vehicles Handbook" provides a comprehensive guide for the diverse range of uniforms and vehicles employed by the RPU. All members must consult this handbook and adhere to its guidelines meticulously to maintain uniformity and safety within the organization. Any deviation from the prescribed uniforms or vehicles without proper authorization will result in the imposition of an MPS Punishment, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and operational integrity.
RPU uses Speed Guns to stop the speeders of the city. Information for this can be found in the RPU: Uniforms and Vehicles Handbook". Marked Speed Traps are used to protect the public and increase road safety.
RPU uses Unmarked Speed Traps to catch speeders trying to slow down when near a law enforcement or marked speed trap.
