Tyreon

Tyreon is the land of the Huma, and takes up a good chunk of the continent. Much of it is deserted or ignored farmland, with small towns littering the countryside while most of the population resides in Carne or along the other Coastal settlements. There is a clear cultural divide between these city-folk and the farmers.

Tyreon is a long-established Monarchical country, named after the very first King Tyr who reigned in the beginning years of civilisation. Kings and Queens with other surnames drift in and out of power, but the current ruler is King Tyr VII, a fifty year old Huma who may or may not be directly descended from his namesake.

Tourism and immigration is a growing facet of the country. It is estimated that 10-15% of the citizens are not Huma, a particularly high level in comparison to other countries, and has transformed Carne into a political and cultural melting pot. Many of these immigrants are Lethan who fled Lytha to escape persecution during the height of the Scale Trade, or have been hired by the TyrArmy as mechanics.

The sheer amount of farmland available to the Huma allows them to export food and raw plant materials to others.
