When constantly pestered, and reminded, that worldbuilding projects are meant to be undertaken with a goal in mind - a novel, let's say - I buckled under the pressure. However, I'm not talented enough to write a generic fantasy novel. I also don't have the time to do that, or to write a game and code and draw assets for it. A compromise had to be made somewhere.
Visual novels are a way of combining text and pretty pictures, and often have a more casual atmosphere. These traits are what made me choose it as a path to follow.
RPGverse's VN is a pseudo-dating sim (nothing explicit, sorry guys) where you 'play' as Allard Moore, a Huma Scholar appointed by the King to organise a huge political convention, where each country's leaders are supposed to meet and discuss foreign policy. By pursuing the threads of each character, Allard and the player can gain an insight into the culture and lore of that race/country.

The game is made through the Ren'py engine, and should be around an hour per route. Nothing too extensive.
