Den Meetings

• Den meetings are planned, led, and executed by den leaders, assistant den leaders, and parents.

• Dens usually meet in their small groups at the Pavilion on St. William Catholic Church’s campus.

• Sometimes dens are combined for special events and field trips.

• Most dens meet two to three times a month. 

Pack Meetings

Our Cub Scout pack is made up of six dens (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and AOL) and it is led by our Cubmaster. The pack as a whole meets once a month, usually at St. William Catholic Church, on the third Thursday (this can vary depending on our activities and the school’s calendar). Activities at our pack meetings can include guest speakers (fire, police, park rangers), games, skits, ceremonies, and presentations of achievements and badges that Cub Scouts earned during that month.

Special Events

All scouts, leaders, and their families, including brothers and sisters, can attend our special events.  

Fall and Spring Campouts - Our pack has at least two campouts a year.  Scouts camp with their families. You can camp for the weekend or just come out for the day.   Our fall campout is usually at the end of October when the weather is cooler.  Our spring campout usually takes place at the end of March or early April. 

Trunk or Treat (October)- Every year before Halloween, our pack holds a family trunk or treat event. 

Pinewood Derby® (January) - You can build and race a model car with your child. This usually takes place in January.  Scouts will receive their cars in December and usually have 5-6 weeks to get their cars race-ready!

Blue and Gold Banquet (February)- Cub Scouting’s birthday party for the entire pack.

Service Projects - food drives, conservation projects, or other community activities.

Field Trips and Special Outings - dens may visit places like City Hall, parks, fire or police stations.
