Youth Opportunities

Each year, we work very closely with schools and young people in our area.

We participate in most of the District competitions, entering youngsters from our local schools in the 'Young Chef', 'Young Innovator' and 'Youth Speaks' competitions.

For a few years now, we have been providing mentors to Sir Thomas Boughey High and Madeley High. This involves a number of Rotarians and some partners visiting the schools each fortnight and sitting with a pupil to talk about their experiences and problems that they may be encountering. The experience is very rewarding for the Rotarians and in most cases the pupils seem to value the help offered.

Assistant Principle, Lee Royall said: 'thank you very much for your kind donation - the 3D printer will make a positive difference to all the pupils in KS3 and the GCSE pupils who will use it'.
