The Rotary Club of Audley is part of a global network of more than 1.2million people who unite and take action to create lasting change in communities. The club has many links with rotary clubs in other countries. In addition to sponsoring local residents to take part in vocational exchange visits, we also host social visits. One such visit was from Rotary Kampen in the Netherlands. They were shown around the very best parts of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Audley Rotary have worked on many International projects over the years and we remain very much engaged with two in particular - Mary's Meals and Lend With Care
Lendwithcare brings together entrepreneurs in developing countries with people with the power to help them. Run by one of the world's leading aid and development organisations, Lendwithcare is a revolutionary way to help people in the developing world to transform their lives. Loans are made to enable the entrepreneurs to get their business up and running and then they pay back the money in instalments. It's a very simple and rewarding project.
Mary’s Meals provides life-changing meals to some of the world’s poorest children every day they attend school. By providing a daily meal in a place of learning, they meet the immediate needs of hungry children and encourage them to go to school to gain an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.

Dionicio is a cattle farmer and grower of organic coffee from Ecuador; our loan has contributed to the purchase of fattening bulls to strengthen his herd and increase his income.
Lan is a domestic helper who helps manage their family farm where they grow rice, various crops and grow pigs and cows. We contributed to a loan that enabled Lan to buy three quality sows, two breeding cows and additional feed.
Cresmil is a fisherman from the Philippines; our loan has contributed to him buying bamboo and nylon rope to support his oyster farm.
The Mujeres Valientes Group is based in Paraguay and is a committee of entrepreneurial women who each run small businesses. We contributed to a loan that will support one of their members to extend their business selling clothes on the street.
In December 2024, the Rotary Club of Audley donated £500 to Mary's Meals. This is in support of our commitment to basic eduction and literacy.
