Web 2.0 resources are technology programs which implement user interaction and creation of materials online. I learned about JSTOR, Mesh Notes, and Socratic through my classmate’s presentations. JSTOR is a program which has an array of research articles for secondary students, while Mesh Notes is a program where students can add notes to a collaborative board. Through my own presentation I learned about Explain Everything, a digital whiteboard which allows for personalized presentation and group collaboration. I did not know anything about the concept of Web 2.0 before this project and after it I have learned about how wide an array of things it covers, a simple customization to colors of a website is a Web 2.0 program! I think Web 3.0 will have fewer advertisements and allow for more personal and direct connections between users.
