For as long as I've been in school, I have loved going. This was largely because of my teachers. I told my preschool teacher when I was four that I would come back and teach with her. While my reasons for teaching may have developed a bit since then, my love for the profession remains the same. It's something so special to be able to help form the minds of the next generation.Â
I love working with children, which I have had the chance to experience through babysitting, my Teachers for Tomorrow Internship, and working at Tech Adventure Camp (K-7). Children's minds are somewhat fascinating to me. Ideas that seem basic to us are enthralling to them. Kids approach every day like it's an adventure, a quality I admire and strive to possess.
I am a helper at heart. In classes, I am always eager to answer my peers' questions and assist with classwork. I also frequent the library in my free time, studying and reviewing with friends. These study sessions help to build my communication skills, which are frequently utilized in class, to communicate with teachers.
