The section on "Part 2.5 The Vasco Da Gama of Rock: The Final World Tour (1991)" devotes 7 pages to Rory's special feelings for Japan, his final tour to Japan in early 1991, sustained admiration of Japanese fans since then, and the circumstances how the Tribute Festival in Japan started in 2010, backgrounds and current situation.

The 50th anniversary since Rory's first visit to Japan!

We did not hold Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival in Japan in 2024. Instead of it, we have uploaded Rory's In Your Town, the last song of the set list in Nagoya, 27th January 1974, in the 18-minute full-length version of the excellent sound source to our YouTube channel. It is long, but please listen till the end. In the second half, especially in the last part, audience got excited and grooved with Rory as one in the whole venue. Enjoy the whole track till the end.
