Teaching

My undergraduate and postgraduate teaching prioritizes problem-based learning and is guided by the conviction that students must actively engage to learn to think autonomously. This reflective work is not something that can be purely done by listening to lectures and taking notes, so in my courses, I promote seminar dynamics where students work in small groups around a question, excerpts of texts to interpret, or some empirical material. This aligns with the continuous effort I make to enrich students' experience with debates and materials related to the research topics I work on. This makes my courses intellectually challenging and versatile in their content. The connection between teaching and research is also realized in the effort to involve students in instances that allow them to familiarize themselves with the craft of research and scientific communication
