Next rehearsal is February 4th - remember that you are responsible for all notes and rhythms. The purpose of rehearsals is to work as a group on musicianship, not learning the basics.

This ensemble requires students to maintain passing grades in all classes, submit all playing tests, complete all requirements in music classes, and can agree to be present at the rehearsals listed below. This ensemble will be the only ensemble invited to perform at a music festival at Six Flags in the spring. Students participating in this ensemble may not miss more than 2 rehearsals for whatever reason throughout the year, and all absences must be submitted in writing, 24 hours in advance. Please look at the schedule carefully and make sure that this is a time commitment that you can agree to. All students are expected to come to all rehearsals with music already prepared for performance; the purpose of rehearsals is to refine performance, and to blend as an ensemble.

This is an elite group that requires additional practice and rehearsal time, and students should be prepared for each rehearsal since they will be only once a month.

Rehearsals:

Students must be at all rehearsals.

Any student missing more than 2 rehearsals will be dismissed from the group.
