Judging the Fair

Judge Training

This year's fair will use the RocketJudge platform to host student products (abstracts and display boards) and facilitate judging. Please review the RocketJudge Judge experience videos below. You may also want to click on the Judging FAQ's prior to judging your assigned projects.

STEP 1 - Check your email for a message containing your ballot RocketJudge. The RocketJudge email may get caught by some filters. If that happens; no worries. Just email Scott Bolen and your ballot can be texted to you.

STEP 2 - Open your ballot and familiarize yourself with the judging platform. *Note - Ballots cannot be opened until 3pm on 1/20/2023.

What does the judge view look like?

This year the Rockdale Regional Science and Engineering Fair will be judged by STEM professionals from across the USA! I appreciate the commitment, flexibility and patience of all of our judges. On behalf of all of the competitors in this year's fair, THANK YOU!

STEP 3 - Think about the feedback that you will provide for the competitors in the comments section

Because of our affiliation with the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, we are able to present a large number of specialty awards sponsored by organizations from around the country. ALL JUDGES may nominate projects for specialty awards which will be awarded at RRSEF 2023. The nomination process is illustrated on the RocketJudge Screen Shots page.
