The Robin Hood Allotment Association operates a waiting list for potential new members with plots being allocated to successful applicants on the basis of allotment availability.
At times of high demand, the Assocition may close the Waiting List to further applicants until the numbers waiting for a plot have reduced to a manageable level.
Status
The Waiting List for an allotment is currently OPEN.
Please remember that the Robin Hood Allotments Association is a volunteer organisation run by enthusiasts who give their free time to help run the allotments for the benefit of the Association members.
This means that the Association does not run to commercial or governmental standards of responses or response times. We simply do our best.
Once you have been advised you have a place on the Waiting List, you will not receive regular updates. You will be notified when an opportunity to take on an allotment becomes available.
Please be patient and remember that the time it takes for your application to come forward depends entirely upon the avilability of allotment plots. Waiting times can be long and it may be many months before a plot becomes available.
The Association does not give Waiting List league tables, information on numbers or estimated times to secure a plot. These things can vary at any given point in time.
When the Waiting List is Closed
On those occasions when the Robin Hood Allotment Association has temporarily closed its waiting list to new entrants, the Association thanks you for your interest and asks you to apply once the waiting list has re-opened, which will be announced on this website.
Interested parties are asked not to send speculative e-mails as these will not be answered. Any information about the site waiting list will be posted on this website.
