Soprano Emma Grace Potts, M.M., is a Hanover County native and alumna of Hanover High School. She began her singing career with City Singers Youth Choirs, followed by solo voice instruction under Mrs. Anne O’Byrne through The Greenspring International Academy of Music. Emma completed her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music at The Cleveland Institute of Music, where she was a student of Dr. Mary Schiller. During her time at CIM, Emma performed the roles of Younger Alyce from Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied, Belinda from Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Alma/ Mother Earth from Emma Cardon-Wake’s A Storm We Call Progress, and Mama Bird from Philip Glass’ The Juniper Tree. Emma was a featured vocalist with The Richmond Pops in June of 2024 and the VCU Health Wind Ensemble in 2025. Most recently, she completed a Young Artist Program in Salzburg, Austria where she was a winner of the Mirabell Vocal Competition. She continues to train locally with Margaret Woods and coach with Dr. Charles Staples. In her free time, Emma loves all things sunshine and summer. From working out, to reading, to walking dogs, the sunnier the better. Most of all she enjoys just being at home with her family and friends.
Anamarie Diaz, M.M., is a flutist, educator, arts administrator, and performer in Richmond, VA. She currently teaches privately at her home studio, DiazFlute Studio, where she strives to push and encourage personal growth through music lessons; she also teaches courses in music theory at Randolph Macon College.
Anamarie is the Administrative Manager of the Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia, a growing organization dedicated to presenting traditional and contemporary classical music in intimate venues throughout the historic metropolitan Richmond area. Previously she was the Artistic Director of Classical Revolution RVA, a non-profit organization aimed at integrating classical music into the vibrant art scene of Richmond, Virginia.
As an active performer, Anamarie regularly performs with Classical Revolution RVA, the Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia, and has perfored with the Richmond Philharmonic and the Orchestra Next. As a solo artist, she performs recitals throughout Richmond with other local musicians. Her most recent, Third Stream IS Mainstream, was performed with pianist Hope Armstrong Erb as part of the Richmond Public Library Gellman Room Concert Series.
Anamarie received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015, and a Master of Music in Performance and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Musicology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2019. Her primary teachers include Tabatha Easley, Erika Boysen, Diana Morgan, and Mary Boodell.
