Instrumental Council Roles:
President:
Runs Council meetings, makes sure things get done, keeps people in line
Vice President (1 per ensemble)
Serve as Ensemble Representative for RMWE, RMSO, Jazz Lab
Responsible for Council communications w/RMWE, RMSO, Jazz Lab
Recruits for their section & communicates with potential musicians/incoming freshmen
Fundraising/Treasurer
Handles Music Council dues/accounts
Raises money for social functions & to support RMC Music Program
Social Chair
Musicians pay $5 per semester to cover events
Organizes social events (dinners, movie nights, etc.)
Organize some sort of social event prior to Commencement (dinner, movie night, etc.)
Publicity/Social Media Chair/Historian
Post 1-2x per week to @musicmacon social accounts
Create promotional artwork for campus, local community, social media
Takes & collects photos from Music & Council events
Creates spirit wear, etc.
