Contributed to 2+ years of continuous digital content output across graphics, video, and primarily copywriting spanning event promotion and coverage, brand partnerships, interviews, social promotion for entertainment, culture, fashion, business, political, and holiday editorial content, and cultural storytelling, ensuring consistent brand voice and alignment with South Asian representation initiatives.
BGM and Slashie Connects has a unique, brand-specific copywriting style that I learned to adapt, featuring longer captions and plenty of emojis to appeal to the Millennial/older Gen Z South Asian American demographics. Research is also vital for each caption to ensure that the people we collaborate with/projects we post are represented with detail-oriented accuracy while still making it fun and light-hearted. My attention to detail which made each caption capture the essence and complexity of each subject, was praised during my time in this role.
