Green fingers? Read Latin? Know your black bamboo from your red bamboo?
Neither do we, but we have fun planting and weeding and making the playground as green as it can be for the children to enjoy!
It used to be a bit of a concrete desert but now we have an orchard of 15 fruit trees, beautiful flowers and a wall of bamboo to block out road noise and pollution.
Each class is assigned a tree and learning and looking after it throughout the year from pruning to harvesting and all the little critters and bugs that they attract.
It all needs looking after and maintaining with the help of the children so if you'd like to help out through the seasons get in touch!
