Saturday tree delivery time will be confirmed on Friday afternoon by our supplier.
All customers will receive an email on Friday afternoon confirming collection times on Saturday.
Typically collection period will be from 9am - 12am on Saturday assuming we have an early delivery.
First come first serve basis. All trees are pre ordered and customers will be able to choose their own trees from their purchased height category.
Refreshments will be available this year - Mulled wine / hot chocolate (with sprinkles) while you wait.
Family event - bring kids, dogs, grandparents to choose your tree and have a bit of a social...
Elves Wanted - Vacancies
Offload Truck
Typically a 6am onwards delivery (TBC)
Need 5-10 strong Elves to:
Offload the truck, count and sort the trees into size categories ready for collection
Delivery point: School car park entrance
Pro's: Personal sense of achievement, early start to the day, fresh pine smell, kid friendly (if up), first choice of your tree
Con's: VERY early start to the day
Christmas-ifi the Carpark
8am onwards
Multiple Elves needed to:
Put out Christmas baubles and seasonal paraphernalia
Set up gazebos for refreshments
Set up mulled wine / mince pies / hot chocolate stands
Sell refreshments during collection period
Pro's: Hot chocolate / mulled wine, kid friendly, first choice of your tree
Con's: Early start to the day
Front of house
9am -12am
2-3 Elves needed for:
Meet and greet
Ticking off collections
Organising deliveries
Making sure people know where to go to choose their tree
Pro's: Get to use a highlighter, first choice of your tree / kid friendly
Con's: sore cheeks from smiling
Saw Bottoms
9am -12am
4-5 Elves needed to:
Saw 2.54cms (1 inch) off the bottom of each tree at customer's request (to aid tree hydration)
Hand saw provided
Electric chain saw provided
Pro's: Chain saw
Con's: Chain saw
