Your PTC is run by an elected committee of mums, dads and carers and supported by all parents in the school community. We exist to create experiences for our little ones, raise money to support the school and promote a sense of community across all parents and carers.
We are always looking for new mums, dads and carers to join us and share their thoughts and talents – so please get in touch!
There are many ways you can support your child through the PTC:
Attend PTC meetings and functions
Bake cakes, donate prizes, buy and sell raffle tickets
Help out at events - many hands make light work!
Send in your ideas on how to raise money and improve school life.
Be a Class Rep
Be a member of the committee.
Most of the money raised is through scheduled events and grant applications.
The two key events of the year are the Christmas Fair and the Summer Fair. Throughout the year we also run cake sales, clothes collections, spooky dress ups, Christmas cards, Christmas tree orders, bulb growing, movie nights, disco's, sponsored runs and much more.
We are always open to fundraising ideas that give our children and parents an opportunity to have fun and be proud of our school.
All the money raised goes to improving the experiences of our children in school. We fund projects that the school budget doesn’t stretch to like our urban orchard and our secret garden. We contribute to the schools infrastructure like redeveloping the schools stage and lighting, the reception playground and the dining hall furniture.
The PTC meets regularly with the Head and the senior leadership team to identify where we best spend the money that parents and carers give and what will have the most impact on our children.
