RULES

*Contest open to all Life Groups & Ministries

*7.5 ft. trees are provided by River Run

*This year’s tree decorating theme will be, Christmas books. Your group will need to

purchase the book you select, so it can be displayed in front of decorated tree. After the

contest, all books will be donated to, Gifts From The Heart Christmas Shop.

*Participants must provide all tree decorations, lights, tree skirt, extension cords, etc.

IMPORTANT DATES

October 13: Church wide promoting begins

October 13 through 26: Talk among your Life Groups & Ministries

October 27 / Sunday: Official registration day! Register at the Tree Decorating Contest table in the Sanctuary. Must include a single point of contact.

November 24 / Sunday: Decorating Evening! 6PM to whenever your tree is done. This will

be a fun time, filled with snacks, music, fellowship & holiday cheer!

December 29 / Sunday: Winning Tree will be announced during both services!

December 30 through January 3: All tree decorations must be removed by contest participants, trees returned to their original boxes.

VOTING

Voting will take place on Sunday mornings, Dec 1-22. Everyone in our worship services will be invited to vote one time for their favorite tree.

PRIZE

Winning Tree and group will receive major bragging rights! Special plaque and photographs will be on display in the lobby for all to see! 
