DJUSD Volunteer Protocol

The RISE for Change Environmental Club can be led by any adult volunteer in the community, including parents, university students, and high school students. In order to ensure that the elementary students are safe, certain district guidelines must be followed.

Volunteers must be able to:

1. Obtain the permission of the site principal or designee.
2. Connect with a teacher to "sponsor" the club by providing their classroom for meetings and being present in the room at all times.
3. Sign in with the Raptor system located at the site if you are 18 or older (please bring a driver's license or any other form of government-issued ID).
4. Follow any other directions given at the school site.
