Welcome to the RISE for Change Environmental Club website! Here you can find all the resources you need for your club activities and assignments. This website was created by a Davis High School student as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award. The goal of this project is to educate elementary students about the impact that humans have on the environment and what they can do to demonstrate environmental stewardship. Much of the environmental harms that exist today, such as recycling contamination, can be remedied on a local level through awareness and education. Have fun with the eight learning modules!

About this website

Each week of the program corresponds to a theme, which has its own page. Select the desired page from the drop-down menu on the left. Each page contains student instructions, which include a description of the theme, an agenda of activities, and links to other sites and videos.
If you are an educator, you can find a lesson plan for each week linked on the "Lesson Plans for Educators" page.
Chromebooks are an essential tool for this program. These should be provided by the school, and students should use their school accounts for all club activities. All student work should be stored in a Google Classroom created by the educator. See the video below if you are new to Google Classroom.
