1)To increase awareness on the current status of gender equality in the own environment & in the participating countries by exploring challenges & good practices
2)To broaden the view on and better understand the current status of gender equality based upon studying the situation over a hundred years of time & across borders
3)To detect & avoid gender-based stereotypes & prejudices and tackle discrimination 4)To promote the idea of gender equality and its importance
5)To increase the awareness on the fact that both verbal & non-verbal aggression & violence is unacceptable, both in general & more specifically gender based
6)To develope important attitudes such as empathy, self-confidence & decrease problems such as performance anxiety, for all students & esp. for girls.
7)To promote engagement in school life & motivation to study as a stepping stone to active citizenship & increased opportunities on the job market &to prevent early school drop-out.
8)To improve important competences for lifelong learning&increased job opportunities: language, IT-skills and to raise the awareness on the importance of these skills, esp. for girls
9)To promote interest in other cultures, their background, history & cultural heritage, in general & specifically for students with a deprivileged background, thus promoting equal opportunities
10)To enrich the scope of pedagogical/didactical methods to work on the topics mentioned, in general & in addition specifically towards students with a migrant background
11)To promote & improve the use of IT in the classroom
12)To offer equal learning opportunities in a realistic context & motivating environment
13)To promote the sensible and responsible use of social media, tackling bullying by these social media & discriminating language use, in general & esp. towards girls
14)To raise awareness on how girls’ & boys’ behavior is understood & interpreted by youngsters in terms of ethics, esp. related to sexual behavior
