Riverside Workshop on Geometric Group Theory

A workshop on recent advances in geometric group theory at UC Riverside

Here are links to the January 2024 and May 2024 editions.

About: On 27-31 March 2023, UC Riverside hosted an in-person workshop for early career mathematicians working in geometric group theory.  Introductory talks were on Sunday March 26, and the minicourses were given during March 27-30.

Format: There were four series of four lectures given on cutting edge research in geometric group theory, with four supporting introductory talks.  The talks were aimed at graduate students and postdocs,  and they were accompanied by discussion sections lead by graduate students.

We simultaneously broadcasted the talks on Zoom for those who could not attend in person.
