I am a NSF Postdoctoral Fellow in the Geometry, Group Actions and Dynamics research group at the University of Wisconsin--Madison, working with with Autumn Kent and Marissa Loving. Previously, I earned my Ph.D. at Temple University under the advisement of Sam Taylor. I use any pronouns.
Research-wise, I am a low-dimensional geometric topologist with general interests in mapping class groups (big and small), the geometry of curve and arc complexes, and hyperbolic 3-manifolds.
I was a mentor for the Roots of Unity 2026 workshop (for which I was a participant back in 2023). During Spring 2026, I was a Strauch Postdoc at SLMath within the Topological and Geometric Structures in Low-Dimensions program. Earlier in the year, I co-organized the satellite log cabin workshop: A Kleinian eye on mapping class groups and higher-rank Lie groups with Sami Douba and Teddy Weisman.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia. I'm passionate about mathematics, education, and liberation.
I was featured as a rising star on Mathematically Gifted & Black, a website dedicated to spotlighting Black mathematicians during Black History Month.
