Today, I went back to the marvellous church from Heaven that is the Stephansdom. When I went there with my class the last time, we saw quite a lot of it, but there were some things we did not get to see then. Those things were the catacombs, the South Tower, and the North Tower. Those are things we must see on our own time. Given that today I have nothing going on, I figured I might as well see them, and so I started my day by visiting the catacombs.
Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures because photography is prohibited and you have to be part of tour group to see it, which means it'll be impossible to hide the fact that you're taking photos because people will see you.
After visiting the Catacombs and South Tower, I went to the Capuchin Crypt, located in the Capuchin Chapel. The Capuchin Crypt is also known as the Imperial Crypt, for it was where most of the Habsburg monarchs were buried. They also had a weird and elaborate "death cult" where there's always some sort of overcomplicated burial/ritual going on. Much like the Egyptian Pharoahs, many Habsburg rulers had their hearts removed when they died and kept in all sorts of different containers.
Although I did not get any photos of the Stephansdom Catacombs, I did get countless photos of this crypt. This is because unlike the Stephansdom Catacombs, which can only be accessible via guided tours in a group, the Capuchin Crypt can be visited without such things, and thus you can visit it independently. Although photography is technically forbidden, there's little enforcement of this rule. Thus, I was able to take all of these photos and get off scot-free.
There's so many of them! This is crazy! The Habsburg lineage is massive, and keep in mind, the people buried here are only the Austrian lineage Habsburgs.

Today, I went back to the Stephansdom of Vienna to see some sites that I didn’t see the last time: the catacombs and the South Tower.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any vids or pics of the catacombs because: 1) not allowed, 2) it’s disrespectful.
Just know that there’s lots of bones and stuff. It’s also where Rudolf The Founder of Habsburg is buried.
After that, I went up the South Tower of the Stephansdom. It’s so tall you can see all of Vienna, and it is worth it. However, it is also incredibly high and tiring, as you have to take a spiral staircase to get to the top. It’s also extremely narrow and if you’re tall, you might bump your head if not careful.
Still, worth it.
