In this section, I will document my daily experiences in Vienna. Every day will be different from the other, and I will show you how much history I've learned in the span of one month by simply walking around a giant city.
History is an academic discipline that requires intensive reading and research. Oftentimes, the texts we read are primary sources and secondary sources, some of them can be engaging, and some of them can drag on for an eternity. Very rarely do historians get to visit the sites they're studying. Thus, I get a unique and rare opportunity that few historians get to dream of by actually seeing and walking through places like the Hofburg, Schönbrunn, Kunshistoriches Museum, etc.
This blog will also give you a glimpse into the local, everyday lives of Austrian locals by exploring places like coffee houses and maybe even interacting with locals (sadly, I'm way more fluent in English and Spanish than German).
