Shirley Zhong is in her first year at Western University pursuing the engineering and Ivey business dual-degree. Throughout high school, Shirley was deeply engaged with the Model United Nations community. From a delegate entering the conference room nervously, to staffing and organizing conferences, and founding the RHSMUN club, MUN continues to inspire her to challenge herself through playing different roles. Shirley credits MUN as the opportunity that helped her grow her understanding of global affairs and cultivate perspectives and empathy, shaping her character today.
