Committees program at RHSMUN 2022
COMMITTEE LETTER
Dear Prospective Delegates, Advisors, and Parents,
My name is Angel Li, and it is my utmost pleasure to be serving as Chief of Staff for the first iteration of RHSMUN.
RHSMUN is specially tailored with beginner delegates in mind and aims to serve as a welcoming introduction to the Model United Nations world. As such, at RHSMUN, we offer three committees for delegates of varying experience levels: Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM), United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and Historical Crisis Committee (HCC). Whether delegates seek to debate on prevailing humanitarian issues, maintaining world security, or reshaping historical events, we welcome delegates to discover their calling in Model UN. Additional information can be found on each committee page below.
Position papers are mandatory for all delegates in the Historical Crisis Committee, but all delegates are highly encouraged to submit a position paper to their dais team via email before the deadline on March 18, 2022 at 11:59 PDT. To be considered for awards, a position paper must be submitted. Please feel free to email your dais team if there are any circumstances preventing you from doing so, or if you have any questions or concerns. A position paper guide can be found under delegate resources at your disposal. If you have any questions concerning any committee, please contact us at rhsmun.contact@gmail.com.
Again, on behalf of the secretariat and staff, we warmly welcome you to RHSMUN 2022, and we look forward to a memorable conference of fruitful debates!
Best wishes,
Angel Li
Chief of Staff
