Hello! Welcome to my site! Here you'll find all of the things that I have learned throughout my CSIT 101 course.
My name is Roeve. I am 26 years old. I have a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park with a minor in Asian American studies.
After graduating, I worked in the Biotech industry in clinical research, specifically Cell Gene Therapy and Lentiviral Vectors. I worked for about four years in this industry and then decided to go back to school, and here we are at the Community College of Baltimore County.
Currently, I am focusing on the path to become a Radiological Technologist. In my free time, I like making music, taking photos, and taking naps :)
This is Luke, my pride and joy. He is a cockapoo, now 8 years old <3
These are a few photos I've taken with my Fujifilm camera.
Before taking this course, I considered myself decent on a computer, having used Word and PowerPoint for most of my academic and professional career. However, I learned so many tricks and skills throughout this course that I will carry with me for the rest of my life (or at least until a new update comes along)!
Having to create an ePortfolio was always nerve wracking for me, but this class taught me how to create structure and even how to create the site in general. The skills I learned in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through this SIMpaths were very enlightening and easy to understand. I appreciate how the class is structured, with Professor Noone being straightforward and assisting whenever possible.
Overall, the class was very interactive and engaging, which greatly helped when learning new information.
