We are excited to announce the new Child, Youth, Vulnerable Adult Safety Policy Certification process for the Rio Texas Conference: Trusted con Confianza. This new certification process ensures that persons in your church will be Trusted (trained, referenced, screened, and tested) as they work in ministry with children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
The certification requires three steps. This 2 hour interactive training provides participants to complete step #3 of the new Rio Texas Conference Trusted con Confianza safety certification. We invite participants to complete steps 1-2 prior to attending this training. You can view more information at riotexas.org/safesteps.
Rev. Dr. Tanya Marie Eustace Campen is an ordained deacon in the Rio Texas Conference and currently serves as the Director of Intergenerational Discipleship for the Mission Vitality Center.
A native Texan, Tanya was born in Houston and grew up in Midland. She graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music and Religion from Austin College in Sherman. Her Masters of Divinity is from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Tanya received her doctorate of philosophy in Christian Education and Congregational Studies from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Her research focus is children's spirituality. She has 19 years of experience as a Christian Educator and Minister to Children and Families in the local church.
