Basis of Review/EFSB Purview
As required by statute, ESFB must determine that the project “is necessary and serves the public convenience and is consistent with the public interest.”
Further, the statute identifies several factors that DPU and ESFB must consider including “the environmental impacts … of the present or proposed use”.

Written public comments are due Jan. 28 by 5pm. Any written comments must be sent to the following four email addresses:

The e-mail accompanying the written comment or petition must specify:
the docket number of the proceeding (EFSB 25-01/D.P.U. 25-16);
the name of the person or entity submitting the request;
a brief description of the document; and
the name, title, and telephone
number of the person to contact with questions about the filing.
