There are two major transmission line projects being planned to cross through our communities. Residents and town officials are trying to be actively engaged to make sure the work is done responsibly with minimal environmental impact.

Eversource (NSTAR) -- The MA Energy and Environmental Affairs office has reviewed Eversource's draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR), and has issued has received its certificate,  with stipulation about continuing to refine their plan. They are proceeding to write their EIR. The public comment period is now closed and the MA Energy and Environmental Affairs office has issued the certificate allowing Eversource to proceed to their.
