Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes (1/27/2024)

Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes [Atlantic, 1992] I recently unearthed this album after hearing about a show at UMASS my mom went to. I’d only listened to it once or twice in full, and a quiet volume, over a year ago. On this second listen, I was hit by it: this is genius. No kidding. I don’t get hit by records this often, and usually not on the second listen. An exceptional exception, if I may be slightly redundant. For something as ambitious as this record, it’s pretty universal. [10/10]
