I have been teaching art in the public schools for 30 years, and am excited to start this venture of having my own art studio!  I plan to teach lessons, offer workshops, and have space for private events such as birthday parties.  My goal is to offer something for all ages, from children to adults.  

Though I am still teaching full-time, I am starting to offer some after school Art-Adventure workshops for kids, and some weekend workshops as well.  I love drawing, painting, printmaking, clay, and fiber arts such as weaving, batik and silk painting.  I eventually want to work toward branching out in stained glass and fused glass work.  

If I could describe what I want from my business, it would be to let people be creative.  I think the joy of teaching art comes from the fact that everyone has their own style and their unique result.
